Sorry we didn’t get a chance to post a day-by-day account of this tour. We’ve had really limited internet access so here’s what we learned on tour…

Xcerts Show
Just wanted to give a little thanks to everyone involved in the show at Studio 24 last Friday.
Thank you to everyone who came through especially to see us.
Thank you to everyone who came for the other bands, and then watched us and chatted to us after the show. Hopefully we’ll see some of you at Cab Vol in May?

Bit of a rant about bands who split up and NEW...
It is with great regret that Penguins Kill Polar Bears will be going on Hiatus after our show with The Xcerts next Friday.
We’re not sure how long this Hiatus will last, but we reckon it will end when we announce our next show / tour which will probably be in a few weeks time

Whenever I came home from a family holiday, my dad used to say say “sometimes the best part of going away is coming home.” As much fun as we’ve had playing down south, we were always looking forward to our last show in Glasgow, and a great night it was.

Leeds surprised me, it’s actually a cool place. I don’t know what I was expecting, I suppose all cities have their charms but I was expecting Leeds just to be a big grey metropolis with nothing to do. But no, loads of cool wee vintage shops and there’s a pretty vibrant music scene here. I bet there’s an absolute gem of a record store hiding here and I just didn’t get...
Tour: Day 10
London scares us, like REALLY scares us! It’s not the size or the people, it’s just your traffic! You guys are nuts! Especially the buses and the bikers. I think I nearly ran over 4 bikers on Thursday alone!
Anyway, we didn’t come here to moan about the traffic. We came here to play a goddamn show and avoid the congestion charge.

Today we had a day off, so there’s not much to report as we had a fairly lazy chilled out day.
Oh wait, we did go to an all you can eat Chinese Buffet in Stafford where we really tested the limits of the human stomach. The final sores were as follows:

Tonight we played Chichester, which is just an hour down the road from Brighton and seeing as we enjoyed the city so much the day before we decided to go back down to the pier to hang out in the afternoon. It was a bit weird for us to think that we were now closer to France than we were to home, but I think we all agreed that people of Brighton should be pretty proud as of all the places...

We decided to leave for Brighton a day early to break the back of the journey. There was a weird start to our trip. Some great stuff happened today, great stuff! I found this record store just off Union Street called ‘Cavern Records’ its just this really dingy basement shop full to the brim with nothing but vinyl records. For a vinyl junkie it’s an awesome place. Some record stores you go into these days and they have all the newer stuff on Vinyl. Like take that...

26th January: A Good Start
So 2011 is here and the snow has finally fucked off! Did everyone have a nice Christmas? Did you all go see Tron? How good was Tron eh?
